055: drawnART

I'm so very excited to announce the launch of my official website, drawnART. I had such a blast with this and I honestly couldn't be happier with how it turned out. I now have a place to sell prints, take commissions, post about projects and everything else related to my art work. I'll of course still be putting updates here about my stuff as well as what's happening in my life. But I'm still super stocked. I was partly inspired by John's journal for the layout, though I've always like the antique look of books and paper. There's something about it that just speaks and appeals to me. I also loved it because of the main purpose behind the page is to showcase my art.

The name drawnART came about in an interesting fashion. I'd found another free hosting site, and ended up not going with it because of the severe limitations, and tried to incorporate my artist name. Well it was taken, which bummed me out a little, but I kept messing around, trying to be clever. And ever you try to be clever you never are. But while messing around with how I even wanted to present my site name I came up with drawnART and really liked the idea of it for some reason.

So please check out my new site, though I warn you it's very graphic heavy and might be a little slow for some people. I apologize about that. Let me know what you guys think, if you notice something like words getting cut off or links going to the wrong pages or not working. I tried to caught all that, but you just never know sometimes. You can even give me some suggestions if you see or don't see something.
