Lovely fic! The atmosphere was wonderful; it felt really damp, cold and simply strange but by the end it felt so much lighter. I love how Sam's thoughts complete what he's telling Dean.
I think he *is* easier to write but...not easier to *get*. I've read some pretty lame Dean pov stuff.
Sam's harder for me because i don't identify with him as much. Dean is a lot like Spike, to me, so much, much easier. But i'm happy to write Sam if it sounds right.

And I agree with Sam and Bette Midler: Dean is a hero, Sam's hero and big brother.

Tabaqui, you already know I love this fic, but I have a silly grin on my face again over those paper worms. Simple things for simple minds, eh? *g*

The little intricacies of life that are such a tabi thing are so prominent and poetic; The rain and the water droplets.
I love the tone of this and how just by sort of being with Dean Sam is cheered up. :)
Dean's fingers are warm and damp and strong on Sam's wrist and Sam sucks in a breath and lets his hand slide up into his hair.
This resonated with me, it was sort of like the lonely lost little boy in Sam and Dean being the big brother. It totally struck a chord. :)
The Wind beneath my wings comment totally made me snort water out of my nose. A bit of humor and quirkiness is awesome with a piece like this.
You've done a great job, like always. I look forward to more spn fic. :D
