So I was in a fairly crappy mood yesterday and scrolled through my iPod to make a list of angry music to fit my rageful soul. As the tracks passed while driving I realized a majority of it was 90s rock. Perhaps it’s just cause I from that generation, but I can’t help but feel the 90s does have the best selection of rocking-the-fuck-out-cause-you’re-so-pissed music. Then a DJ on the radio pointed out that seventeen years ago today the music world lost a huge icon of 90s rock, and someone who remains musical inspiration to many this day still.
Kurt Cobain (1967-1994)
This year also marks the first year I am actually older than him when he went.
