tonight after work i picked up james and headed to panara to get hannah. she greeted us with a box of semi-stale cookies and bagels, and james and i sat in a booth and watched her clean for about twenty minutes. there were 8 other people there, yet it still took over an hour to close. hannah looked so unatural and out of place holding a mop and stacking plates. james and i couldn't stop cracking up.
so later we ended up at the harbor talking about scene people and hard drugs. then another car pulled into the parking lot a few spots over. we all just kept talking and chilling and i had a clear view of the car as i was talking to hannah who was sitting shotgun. and then the two shilouettes started making out and i was all like, 'ooooooo you guys look!' and they were all like, 'kayt. don't be gross.'
so i'm blatantly watching these people get it on while hannah and james continue talking, and 5 minutes go by and we're all glued to the window. i'm not a voyeurist or anything but it was so entertaining. hannah and i were taking turns analyzing the situation, i was acting out the voices of the guy and the girl, etc. so like... twenty minutes go by, and we're wondering what the hell is going on. is she bad at giving head or can he not get a hard on or what? so finally they're both sitting up, and we see her open the car door real quick. we were all confused and then it dawned on me and outloud i was like, 'aw man she spit! dude though... you gotta swallow.' and there was awkward silence for a second and then we burst out laughing.
the car left the parking lot right after and obviously (considering nothing ever goes on in hingham even on friday nights) we followed them. james was all embarassed and slouched down in the back and kept repeating, 'are you serious kayt? this is so messed up.' meanwhile, hannah and i were all jumpy and giggly and finally at the intersection near brooks, we saw them- if only for a split second. i had a clear view of the guy's face and he looked EXACTLY like this dude i met randomly the other week. he was in a wicked post-orgasm comatose state and it was so typical and the whole night was basically like watching a shitty teenage movie.
i had fun.
a lot of people i know are graduating tomorrow. i'm so proud of them and feel so much love. i've been friends with alie and hily since 4th grade and hannah since 3rd. i haven't known nick that long, but it still feels cool to think that my boyfriend is done with high school.
i drank a red bull tonight at work around 8ish. i'm guessing that's the only reason i'm here- my mind's all buzzy. it tastes like straight slush puppy juice. man... freakin' love those things.
