Yeah, so I finished my new Happy Bunny background. I have to have my sister make it bigger for me though.
Christmas, despite the chaos, was nice. We had it here at my house this year. I got a few more random presents from various relatives. Overall, I got my tv, (score!) some clothes, a hat, two pairs of mittens, two pairs of earrings, a picture frame set, a purse, a shitload of makeup, a bath/shower set, forks, spoons, and bowls from Kangas, another '365 Stupidest Things Ever Said' calendar from Brittany, two cute necklaces, money, and some various other little things. Yeah. Fun times. The food was good; lots of leftovers.
Steve came over around 6 or so, and we decided to go to Blockbuster for some movies. Yeah, great fricken idea. It was basically a white-out, with hardcore blowing snow. I almost went in the ditch on 35 past Sicotte's house, and I was only doing about 30. The ride from Marquette back home was a nightmare. It took us a little over an hour to make a normally 20-25 minute drive. I took 492 home instead of 41 to avoid the traffic, and since 492's not a primary road, it definitely hadn't been scraped yet. I pulled over at the 35-480 intersection, and then again in Palmer because it was so bad. Right now we're getting hammered with lake effect snow at the rate of 3" per hour. Right now the Weather Channel says expect 15" by noon tomorrow. Yesss.
I hope Santa was good to you all, and remember, if it's yellow, let it mellow, and if it's brown, flush it down. Oops! I forgot my own rule.
