Compost my vegie and tissue waste, recycle what the local council recycles, use low-energy bulbs and only turn on when needed, collect fresh rainwater for my plants in old icecream containers, unplug electrical items not used especially things like a microwave that draws power just to run a clock (I have enough clocks), don't run my computer all the time.
What I would like to do but haven't got around to doing, is getting a worm farm, then the compost waste could feed the worms, the rainwater could be used to get the worm casting out as high-nutrient worm water, and when the farm fills with good broken-down stuff, mix it with my old potting mixes to refeed my plants instead of buying new potting mix to put in my plants. Makes it almost a closed cycle. Feed vegies, grow vegies, feed worms with leftover vegies and back to feed vegies again.
