Another no.
I called the school back that I interviewed with. The guy said that they sent someone to get their fingerprints checked, and assuming that turns out fine, they'll be hiring that person.
So no job there for me.
(and something random just happened...got a phone call and it was an automated voice, couldn't hear at first,then when I could it was speaking Spanish...so of course I hung up. what the fudge? )
The guy said I had a good interview and good credentials and I was one of three that they really liked and he would have liked to hire, but the school would only let him take one. He said that he'll keep my information on file because they'll have another position opening in June, and he'll call me and the other person they liked before they put out an add for that position to see if we want it. He realizes that we'll probably have other jobs by then though.
So lets see what else I can come up with now.
