Hmmm. Wonder if planets are in retrograde or something. I took a day off to spend with a friend, who then cancelled on me. So, instead I ended up planting seeds in the garden. I also caught up on my spinning. Here is the Valentine's Candy mix of Cotswold, Romney and Merino all spun up.
The shades range from pale pink, to fuchia, tomato red, to almost a dull brick color.
I also finished the blue cotswold and began plying that to the merino.
Yes, it is warm enough to wear shorts and tank tops, which has me worried because at this time of year, we usually have 3 weeks of cool wet weather. Oh and I finished the first pair of socks from the skein painting workshop. This was made from the long stripe (job 3) and the spatter dye (job 4).
Well, my attempts to be a Spin-To-Knit "angel" is a failure at this point. USPS has managed *not* to deliver either package I sent.*sigh* So, now I'll have to put a trace on them. OTH, the post office managed to deliver my Stash Busters swap just fine. I scored some Wilton dyed Border Leicester which will make good sock yarn or needlefelting decoration (Yes, yet another hobby.) on that hat I'm gonna make. I did finish Branching Out, but the photo is on the laptop...So that will have to be posted later, I think. [Mentally, checking off the UFO list]
I also dug out last summer's merinos to card with some angelina fiber. I've never seen wool so boringly uniform in color. Dunno if that will help or not, but I'll keep ya'll posted.
