Rain in Maui??
So, it is my 3rd full day here and I can tell this is going to be a never ending vacation. Yesterday my mom called me "fat" again...so that pretty much ruined my day. Well she didn't exactly say those words, but she told me I should go on that show "The Biggest Loser". She thinks she's so high and might now that she lost 35lbs because she was depressed from her mom passing away...yeah, real healthy mom, I am sure your body is thanking you for that. At least I don't need to lose 35lbs...if I did that I would be a fricken stick. So I didn't talk to her the rest of the day yesterday and pretty much all of today also. This morning I got up and went for a swim at the pool. The water was nice but it was RAINING! Geez...it was pouring buckets this morning. So I went and worked out for a half an hour and then got ready to go see my grandparents.
Wow, they are in bad shape...my grandma just had cancer removed from her nose and my grandpa is recovering from hernia surgery. It was hard to see them kinda off, but I think they will be doing better soon. They have two really cute dogs named Koele and Erik...like my brother Eric, except with a K. So we visited with them for a bit and then went and got lunch. I think we overstayed our welcome but my mom has such a problem making decisions and being a leader that we just stayed longer than we probably needed to.
We came back here and I ready more of my book, The Da Vinci Code. I swear I am getting smarter from reading it. It is SOO interesting and I am learning so much. Plus the book is a page turner. It is somewhat hard to read because I want to make sure that I retain all the info so that I am not missing any part of the story. I suggest that everyone should read it. So I read for about an hour and a half, watched the weak sunset from the lani and then went inside and watched some tv. My brother and I played cards and that was fun. I kicked his butt in SPEED, and then killed him at Gin as well. Good times. :)
Well I don't know what is on tap for tomorrow but I hope it is something fun. Yesterday my mom and dad and I went to Lahaina to eat lunch and shop. We ate at Longhis on Front Street and it was pretty good. My dad told me that if I wanted anything, today would be the day to ask him to buy it for me. Ahhh...I love being spoiled! :) But unfortunately I didn't see anything in particular that caught my eye.
Still haven't been to the beach yet....prolly because there hasn't been a really sunny day. :( I WANT TO TAN SOOOOO BAD! Hmm....maybe I will have to go to a tanning salon when I get back to make it look like I got tan! HA! Well..we'll see. Christmas is coming, yet it doesn't even feel like it. Bummer. Oh well, have a great day y'all. Miss my peeps from P-Town having all the fun without me...and my buds from Chico. MISS YOU!!!!!!!!!!!
