Weeeee

So, Heritage Village is really nifty but I'd recommend going when it's fall-ish...summer is way too hot to be spending 3 hours outside wandering from house to house. I esp. liked the House of Seven Gables - it's soo pretty!! We also went to the Botanical Gardens, which was beautiful and I took some photos in the tropical garden section, which I'll post somewhere eventually. And guess what - I finally got a single cup teapot set!! (How sad that that became a highlight of our trip...me and teapots, oy.) We followed that by lunch at Olive Garden and then we went to Westshore Mall and saw Pirates of the Caribbean 2 (yay! Good movie!). It was one of the most enjoyable days I've had in a long time...and probably the best date I've ever been on, hehe. Sadly, I then had my PT appointment today. I was given three exerises to do at home, I have 3 appointments a week now, and they're taping my knee (literally using a powerful tape to force my kneecap into place) which is eh, interesting. I seemed to shock the therapist when I mentioned the pain level...apparently I should be experiencing a lot more pain than I do considering the inflammation and placement of the kneecap when I straighten my leg. Oh well, I guess after 6-7 years, you become very tolerant (I don't even notice when I start to limp on occassion). The good news though: while we probably won't get my kneecap back over enough, we should be able to strengthen my leg muscles enough to prevent surgery. :D I go back tomorrow at 9.30, so we'll see what fun I get to do then...followed by work (yay, income!). And my sinus infection is completely gone, so yay, good times! Wow, this is a cheezy sounding update..but hey, it's an update, right? ;D
