And indeed, the boycott is silly. What I'd like to do is show up somewhere they're going to be giving out the free books, take one, calmly flip through to the end of the 50-page introduction, and tear it out. With a polite smile, hand that part back and say, "Here, I don't need the dithering nonsense bit. Just the good stuff."
