my weekend
so friday afternoon i went to paducah to take my certification test. no big deal. and i wasn't really that nervous. i was more nervous about the written part than the skills part. the written wasn't too bad - there were a couple i did not know. the skills part was easy. we had to do blood pressure. mine was definitely 140/90. that is NOT GOOD. that is HIGH. i NEVER have high blood pressure. even when i'm nervous, it's not that high. she said it might have been because the shirt i was wearing was kinda making a tourniquet around the top of my arm because it was kinda tight up there. at least i hope that was the reason.
quick weather update - the bottom just fell out. good lord. it sounds like a monsoon out there. and it's blowing sideways. into my window. yikes - i have another class! i might drown.
back to my weekend...
as the test was going on, i got the worst migraine. then i had to drive to michael's house. i wasn't sure if i was going to make it or not, my head hurt so damn bad. i finally got there. and he brought me a dozen red roses, just because. the ribbon around them said "i will love you until the last one dies" and i was like wtf. there must be a fake on in there. and sure enough, there was. so he will love me forever because the fake one will never die. aww. ain't he sweet??? i love him bunches.
we went back to paducah on friday night to see his grandma at the hospital. she had hip replacement surgery and was way out of it. then we went and ate a ryan's. then we went home.
saturday we were lazy. i studied for part of the day. sunday was pretty much the same. lowell cooked supper for everybody so we went over there. i got back to murray last night about 945. i finished my care plan and studied a little more for my test that was this morning. and then i went to bed.
good story.
my test this morning wasn't all that bad. i have another one on wednesday - in physiology. agh. and i got my care plan turned in this morning. i am kinda on top of things.
i have pharmacology tonight from 330-630. and i can just about guarantee that we will be in there the WHOLE time tonight. sweet. then i am going over to jessica's to fix my scrubs on her sewing machine. then it's more studying, if i have time. i guess i should make some time...
