Summary: Brian's been having a hard time, but the new kid at school catches his eye. Will this be the Beginning of a good realtionship, or a hellish nightmare.
It was midnight in Huntington Beach, and Brian was walking the beach alone. Thinking of what had just happened between him and the one he loved. He didn't want to see him hurt, and it killed him inside, but he knew he had done it to himself. He knew that always being one of 'those' kids would end like this. All those time's he saw him lie to them, all the times he denied it and kept his relationship with Brian a secret.
Brian knew deep down in his heart all of those times, that once they found out the love of his life was gay they would try to hurt him, or even kill him. That's what they had done tonight, now Matt lay helpless in the confides of Lakeview hospital while Brian roamed the beach thinking of ways to get back at those who hurt the one he loved. The next morning Brian woke to the sound of his alarm clock beeping, he rolled on his side to look at the clock and noticed it was 7:00 am. Introduce himself to the young boy, they shook hands and the sophomore introduced himself to the junior, 'I'm Zacky', Brian cleared his throat and introduced himself, never letting go of Zacky's hand once. Then the bell rang and Mr. Acosta walked into the room, the two pulled their hands away and listened to the lecture the teacher had in store for them today.
Lunch rolled around soon enough, and Brian was at his locker, he noticed someone struggling with their locker, and immediately saw it was Zacky. Brian ran over to help him, Brian opened it effortlessly, Zacky then flashed him a small smile meant to be a thank you, but he ended up blushing. Brian chuckled lightly and offered to walk with Zacky to lunch. Zacky accepted Brian's offer and they walked to the cafeteria together,
Talking about everything from music to clothes along the way. By the time they sat down to lunch they felt like they had known each other forever, just then Zacky got a sparkle in his eyes. Brian recognized it but couldn't quite put his finger on it, so he let it slide. They discussed more over their lunch break and the bell rang and off to class the two went. life, Zacky told Brian in return that he had recently broken up with his significant other, Brian told him his story about what happened to Matt, Brian was fine with talking about their relationship openly now that they had figured it out. Zacky bit his lip, 'So you’re... Gay?' Brian merely nodded, 'Yeah, but the others don't like it' motioning to them as he said his sentence. Zacky finally felt safe telling someone for the first time that he was gay.
'Well actually, I got dumped. By my boyfriend. He said he couldn't handle a long distance relationship, and since I was moving, he broke up with me. Then I found out he was only using me to make his ex jealous.' a silent tear fell down Zacky's cheek, Brian wiped it away with a million dollar smile. Zacky chuckled and thanked Brian. Soon school had ended and the two were walking to their cars together, they said their good-byes
