I'm so glad you joined us Kay! And I love Laurie, too. I saw her speak at our local SCBWI conference a couple of years ago, and I still remember her advice to write every day. It's not always possible, but it's a good mantra!
I would love to hear LHA someday. For me, it has been the 15 minutes that has made the difference. It is so much more doable than two hours or more, and I'm getting a lot done in those 15 minute spurts.
I will def check out Maggie's post and I love Laurie! And I'm so glad that you are still writing. That is huge. Maybe you'll even get to be in the practice room sometime this school year. we are hoping for some evenings. It has been such a pleasure to read your posts!
I would love to get back to the practice room. I checked this week's schedule...I'll have to try for next week. Maybe I'll just have to leave updates in the comments!
Summer for me was a break from my writing. I'm hoping it helps clear my head for the revisions that are ahead. :) Thanks for joining us for the series! I'll be back to check in on you and your writing!!
Good luck with your revisions. I'm in a sweet spot right now. The ideas are pouring in on where the story is going, and where I need to reshape it in what I've already written. I may actually end up with something almost decent. If not, it has been invaluable in the learnng experience.
