Right, lets have a think about where we were upto last time ;)

I am now working in Mecca Bingo. Its not as bad as the first mental images that spring to mind portray, and the people I'm working with are by far and large a good bunch of people. The wage is decent, and more than likely to increase within the next few months to something (for Aberdeen standards) is not bad. Also there is plenty of opportunity for overtime as and when I feel the need. Although the job is not taxing me mentally a lot of it boils down to common sense (so how the hell do I cope!) and generally just being nice to people (probably more so the other staff than the customers to be honest, but at work I'm happy to everyone because there is no point being a missery-guts who watches the clock and complains).

The last week I've had the flu that struck down both Kirsty and Callum, and as such been off work (and signed off). Turns out it had turned into a sinus infection. Or thats what the Doctor said anyway and who am I to argue with someone who knows a lot more about the human body than I?

Ele wise - Things are going ok. Waiting for information from a few people before I can really polish off something, and stuff for Clerics seems to be heading in the right direction...a bit more slowly than I would like but I guess thats because I am far to eager to get Cleric stuff done and as I am getting older my patience seems to be dwindling. Perhaps its the 'getting to be like the people you live with' thing ;) *hides*

A 'friend' of mine on ele is doing very well as well, but I won't go into details other than to say that I am very happy with the progress they are making despite some other players efforts.

Homelife is by and large fine. Getting out of the house with the job has probably helped if nothing else. Being a house-husband was an experience, and one I wouldn't say no to doing again, but its much harder work than people think it is ;) Then again, I guess 4 kids (because I'm including the cats, especially George and his toilet habits) can tire you out fast.

Kirsty seems to be fine mostly, but recently has been more sad. A lot of things are playing on her mind and she is great at dwelling on things she shouldn't. Hopefully if things go the way she wants then her mood will improve and we shall see the smiling happy Kirsty rather than the upset (sometimes 'get out of my face now or I shall rip you in twain' Kirsty) version. Hugs and cuddles only go so far (especially in her view) so hopefully the changes will help her.

Callum has taken to calling me 'Anoo' when I am too busy to respond to Dad-dadd-daddydaddad. Most disturbing. As such I asked Kirsty to start calling me daddy infront of Callum. Hmm, disturbing in another way. I live a disturbed life!
