Everything Right is Wrong Again
Been pretty blue today for a variety of reasons. First and foremost, my dad's not feeling well at all, which especially sucks since it's Father's Day. He actually had to go to the hospital for awhile because he was about to pass out at work, but he's resting comfortably now. Also, I didn't get the part time summer job I interviewed for last week, and I still don't know where I'll be working next school year. I've been too worried to write today like I wanted to. Aaand I'm very bummed that I most likely won't be seeing TMBG this year, but that's the least of my worries right now.
So I'm trying to focus on the positive; my dad got some new medication, so hopefully he'll feel much better soon. He also really liked his Father's Day gift. I still have my tutoring job at FIU, and I should be getting my assignment for next year very soon. I had a really nice swim today and am looking forward to going to the beach soon. Since I didn't get the part time summer job, I'll have more time to write, which I really need if I hope to finish the story I'm working on before the deadline of June 30th. And most importantly, I need to stay strong for my mom and dad (and kitties!).
