As is my want, my holiday was quiet and pretty much solitary. After the hell that is pre-holiday retail, I just want to surround myself with silence and my own space. I did invite a friend who had to work during the day over for dinner, and made a lasagna which will end up being lunch for several days next week. My holiday cards are STILL not written despite my hopes that I'd do them during the day yesterday so expect the Christmas joy to last until Twelveth Night, at least as far as mailboxes are concerned. And speaking of cards - I got one that was TRI-lingual, which absolutely made my week.
And today, I'm riding along with a friend at her job. She's a police officer, so I'm spending the day in a police car!
