Requested Icon Tutorial - Bones

Okayy so library_of_sex asked me how to make an icon & I said I'd write the tutorial! :] It's PS but really simple and just using a few of the tools so PSP might have them :]

Hope this isn't a dumb question: How many pixels should you set for feathering to achieve that perfect circle you got?

I just kept the feather at 0 px for the circle, did you try and it came out wrong?

You know, it's very weird, but I use the Lasso Tool in PS 7.0, which makes a nice circle shape around what I select. Then, I paste it into the icon, and instead, I get what I selected but in a square shape! When I use stroke, you can see that the the white stroke is around the small square. I must be doing something wrong.

That's very weird..

But, did you say you're using the lasso tool for the circle? Because I'm using the Elliptical Marquee Tool for it :]

I'm an idiot. I thought that was the same tool with a different name. I now know how to access the Elliptical Marquee tool and am sure I'll encounter no more problems from here on out! *FACEPALM*
