I was recently contacted about doing an author interview for jim_and_bones. My name was suggested by members (or so I was told), and presumably those members peek at my journal every once in a while. I figured it'd be polite to let them know what's up. This was my response:

Thank you for letting me see the questions and giving me time to consider my answer. I have decided to decline. I am hesitant to join large groups, and sympathetic to others who feel the same way. It is important to me, personally, to keep my journal and fanworks lurker-friendly. For those reasons I am unwilling to generate content for a locked comm.

Thank you for your consideration, and I wish you luck in finding another author to interview.
