I don't remember that shot at all, so thanks for that, I remember looking for any women wearing pants and not finding any. Also for a minute I thought the woman was bald, but no she's just blonde with her hair pulled up real tight like everyone else.

I looked, too. I don't know when I caught this particular shot, but it was probably several viewings in (granted, there is a LOT to look at in this movie.) I think most crewmen wore pants on the Kelvin, though, and in The Cage (the original pilot for TOS) everyone's uniform had pants, also. EXCITING!

I like pants, ok. That's not weird. :(

P.S. I'm trying to decide if the dildo-hair is practical or not. On the one hand, no hair in the face! On the other hand, you'd keep bumping it into the side of the Jeffries tubes and accidentally pressing buttons. >P

There's a woman with a smallish fro on the bridge, and when the drill falls into the Bay one of the cadets running across the quad has her head shaved, iirc.

But yes, obv further investigation is required. >>

There's a picspam that was posted to where_no_woman a few months ago that included female Starfleet officers in pants and a female cadet with a shaven head and lots of other awesome women. If I get time to go looking I'll return with the link but at least now you know it exists.

AHA. I knew there had been a picspam of such fabulous nature, but I had no idea where it was. Wasn't there one of the PoC characters, too? (If you can tell me the journal/comm I'll go looking for it once I've finished some homework.)
