art dump: random Af-Am nude/outline and Pike!Sis in various states of undress
I've been missing from the Internet for a couple of weeks now, being pathetically unproductive, but I did slog away at some art.
This was another attempt at doing a figure with an actualfacts dark skin tone, as opposed to whatever the heck this skin tone is.
Instead the poor bastard just ended up looking crazy ashy. I have light source problems, ok, but I have accepted this and you should, too.
As usual, the outline looks muy better:
Next is another drawing of Pike!Sis from that fateful Sibling Saturday. Because of the ~~~Power of Layers~~~ you can see all the different parts of her outfit like she's a paper doll or sommat. I'm not posting the nude version because this is Pike's sister, ok, and he'll kick your ass.
NB: DON'T LOOK AT THE FACE. I suck at drawing good faces and yet I am good at sucking face. Or something.
I don't know what she's pointing at. I'm sure she's saying something sarcastic about whatever it is, though.
In other news, I have been watching A LOT of science and nature documentaries. So, if you're upset that I haven't posted fic lately, you need to take it up with PBS and David Attenborough. It's not my fault.
