Two line drawings with some block color

Most of my stuff starts off as line sketch, and then I cross-hatch. For whatever reason, I decided to outline in heavy black and leave these two unshaded. After I scanned them (with an actual scanner!) I cleaned them up with the erase tool. I wanted to play with line weight after seeing some of the nice stuff cirrocumulus has done, especially where she omits line completely at the brightest point. That technique worked fairly well here, I think. At any rate, it was fun to do something more stylized.

(note: this has been revised since the first post. I moved the scapulae around to be more anatomically correct.)

I had to digitally rotate this and do some erasing along pixel lines because ummmm I am a very poor judge of whether or not a line is perfectly horizontal or vertical. See for yourself:

I quite like the heavy-outline version of this. I feel like I should do something differently with the ribs in both versions, however. :/
