OMGOMGOMG! *flails*
Ohhhh. Wow. That was hotter than most NC-17 rated stuff I've read.

I loved the way Ianto's fur ruffled at Gwen disrupting his orbit and Tosh's diving; loved the programming/diving imagery; loved Tosh being all slinky and feline and the They are soft and they are sly; that doesn't mean they are not strong.

The Jellicle ball ran in the back of my mind right the way through this - the mental images from combining the two were very very pretty.

Ianto froze, bit off three words in succession, then flung at Tosh the most perfect explanation of ad hoc networking that she had ever heard. Jack teased later that Tosh's cry of "Exactly!" was orgasmic. At the time, he gave them both a silent beam that said, "These are my kids, and they are perfect."
Yes yes yes yes! *bounces*

And, oh, you made Tosh's transition from uncertainty to whistle-crack work. *thrums* She is so herself, still, still uncertain, and I like that as much (almost as much / even more than) as how that moment is porn-incarnate.

Ianto gasps. His ( ... )

I'm not italicizing that, because it's exactly what I did when I read this comment. :D

I WIN! I love making people say that. >P

Ooh! Jellicle ball! That's a nifty comparison.

Isn't the Jack-watching just precious? He wuvs his babies, yes he does. And yet he has no idea what they're up to. serves him right for schtupping the new girl, anyhow.

Thank you. I haven't written Tosh a whole lot, so I'm not at all comfortable with her characterization-- but that moment was one that I had, ahem, chewed on in my imagination a bit. *^^*

So seemingly normal, so secretly pure porn.
I... I think I want that on my tombstone. :x

:D

I may just have to put that in my userinfo, yeah? Thus further inflaming false hope in people who think I should write NC-17 more often. >>

Tosh hates him suddenly the way she hated every boy like him in school, the boys who disrupted maths and made her feel unwanted because she always had the answer.

Absolutely perfect. I also love the subtleties you put into your characterization of Ianto -- the way he uses routine to maintain control, the not so surreptitious tango with Jack, and the way he's different with Toshiko even though he's got so much to lose by letting his facade slip given the Thing in the Basement. Very nicely layered for both characters.
