(no subject)
So I was at my bank earlier this afternoon, making a deposit. As I'm writing out the slip, this chick comes up to the other side of the counter, talking to someone on her cell phone. As I remember the conversation went something like this:
"...I'm playing hooky from math class because there's a test I didn't study for. I wonder if it will affect my average..."
HUH?? I'm pretty darn sure it will affect her average; but oh well, live and learn. In a way I did feel like saying something to her, but I just shook my head, went about my business, and kept my mouth shut.
