Okay I warn all of you. THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH ANYTHING.
It's just some random thought I had yesterday.
Warning - I will be talking about, Star Trek, Star Trek Next Generation, Enterprise and concepts of complete stupidity on my part - Forgive Me.
WHERE IS ALL THE BIRTH CONTROL IN SPACE?
You heard me.
Illegitimate kids seem to pop up all the time in the future.
Think about it. Kirk, yep. Picard, two, I think, no one every really explained Weslie. Worf had Alexander. Even the Q had illegitimate kids running around.
So where is the birth control, people? Does it not exist in the future?
And if so how is that possible?
You can travel at warp speed but condoms or the pill are too complex a concept for you?
Kirk alone probably has kids on every planet he visited. I seem to recall most of them were backward planets where he went undercover. (pun inteneded) So I don't think they had advanced birth control. I forgive them. But Kirk come on where in the federation guidelines did the no interference clause say you could get busy with the natives?
Let's not even mention disease. I mean how could Kirk think about getting busy with green moon women. He did realize he'd be sleeping with every green moon man they had slept with, right?
Even Trip a lowly engineer was not immune to the stupidity, he sticks his hand in a bowl of rocks and ends up the first pregnant human male.
I bet if that happened to Kirk he would have learned to keep his jump suit on.
So in conclusion I ask you people, really where is the birth control?
