spn_twisted Summary: Three FBI agents meet for a drink and discuss the ones that got away.
Special Agent Ron Sacks leaned back in the corner booth of the bar and watched as his two longtime friends walked over. It was getting harder and harder to get their schedules to match as the years progressed, but ever since Quantico, they had managed to keep their yearly meeting.
“Hey James. Vic,” Sacks said in a light tone as the other two men arrived at the table. They exchanged a round of handshakes and back slaps before sitting down to wait for two more mugs of beer to arrive.
“So, what you two dogs been up to?” Sacks questioned as the drinks arrived. “Working any hot cases?”
“I’m on the Winchester case,” Special Agent Victor Hendricksen said. His eyes narrowed as he took a long sip from his glass. “You heard of them?”
James and Sacks shared a look before turning back to Vic. “That those brothers? Didn’t one of them die in St. Louis?” Sacks responded for the both of them.
“Dean Winchester is not dead yet. Haven’t figured out how he faked his death, but he’s still out there. I have this feeling I’m closing in on him. Just a matter of time. Of course they’ll probably get some light sentence at a mental institution. They claim that the ‘supernatural’ exists and is to blame for everything going all the way back to their mother’s death in ’83. It was probably the dad who brought them up to be killers just like him and to live his own delusions.”
“The supernatural?” Special Agent James Ellison snorted. “That load of crap is better than this damn Connor case.”
“Connor? Haven’t heard of him,” Sacks said around a swallow of beer.
“It’s more a ‘her’ than a ‘him’. Sarah Connor claims that these ‘cybernetic killing machines’ from the future tried to kill her and that a man from that same future saved her life. Says the world is going to face ‘Judgment Day’ when some computer takes over the world and creates these killing robots. She blew up this computer facility called Cyberdine after her twelve-year-old son helped her escape a mental institution. Then in ’99, they went and got themselves blown up in a bank in California.”
“If they blew up, then what the hell are you working the case for?” Vic asked.
“Both her and her son have been spotted recently in connection with several unsolved murders. And the strange part is, they don’t look like they’ve aged a day since ’99. Think she might be working with these Winchester guys to fake a death like that?” James asked Vic with a laugh.
“Hope not, man. We don’t need all the psychos in the world teaming up against us. So Sacks, got any stories to share about the crazy ones that got away?”
