Think Happy Thoughts...
I think there are crickets chirping all over my LJ page. So I'm really late with the tag that sinfulslasher gave me, but if it has me posting five days in a row, yay! Between work and family, things have been swamped of late. But here's hoping...
The rule: during the next five days, post three positive things about your day and ask three people to do the same so the positive attitude can gain some ground. (I decided not to tag...)
Day 01
I'm going a little off script and just doing positive things in recent days. I think that will work.
(1) My Cousin's Wedding! One of my younger cousins got married this past weekend. She grew up right next door to me and I remember when she was born (I had just turned 8 at the time). Since we lived on a farm, my only neighbors were my five cousins of which she was the youngest. When she was old enough to be mobile, she would wander down to our house and watch Alice in Wonderland on repeat.
(2) My older cousin cheerfulchaotic visited the weekend of Labor Day. I got to shuttle him around town, introduce him to my roomie and some friends and had a great time visiting.
(3) I made a trip to the Halloween Express store that opened up recently like it does every year. It always cheers me up. However, my dirty mind kicked in when I saw the graphic for the chain links. The chains sure are happy chains. :)
