Blarney Castle and outreach

Jan 09, 2009 00:49

Today it was our day off and five of us went to Blarney Castle.

I did kiss the stone. Already have quite a bit of gab - I was hoping to pick up the Irish language but we shall see.

On outreach so far I have worked in a cafe, given my testimony at a church service and cried, prayed for someone who was healed, scrubbed floors, given money and food and prayers to some homeless guys (John Murphy, I will not forget you), missed friends, written letters, gotten carsick, chipped rust off a gate and painted it, played a song at an open mic night in front or TWENTY people! spent a lot of time begging God to change me, interceded with two different churches, did inventory at a bookstore and got really tired!!!!!!!!

I took a nap today - it was wonderful.

We are leaving Cork tomorrow, or rather later today... We have an evening in Closkelt repacking and the next day we fly from Belfast to Luton airport, where we will then go to the YWAM base in Harpenden for two days and then fly form Heathrow to Madrid and then Johannesburg. Then a bus to Durban... Wow.

I need to go. If I wait much longer I am not sure if anyone will let me in the church!!! (We only have one key so we ring to get in.)
