HEADY, JAMES "DANNY," 46, of Louisville, passed away Sunday, September 10, 2006. Danny was in the funeral business for nearly 30 years as a funeral director, embalmer and visionary. After graduation from Atherton High School, he attended the old Kentucky Mortuary School. He was an early advocate for consolidated embalming services and pre funded funeral arrangements in the Louisville area. He was also the founder/president of Cremation Society of Kentucky. He leaves behind his wife, Kimberly Heady; mother, Pattie Heady; and stepchildren, John P. Norris and Stephanie Miller (Nathan); and lifelong friends, Tom and Suzanne Bowling and Barbara Derringer. Services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road. Cremation with a private family burial will follow. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Tuesday. Memorial contributions may be made in the form of donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
