((FYI My birthday was Jan.3)
I had a nice birthday! Although I had to work..everyone at UMI made my bday a really nice work time!
Patty: KAYLA! WE NEED YOU IN KITCHEN! *READ IN CHINESE ACCENT
SO ..I went in the kitchen to find all of my asian friends, along with a few american ones...(Katy, Amy, Doug, & Shannon) and the spanish dishwasher that cant speak english..ahaha nice work place! ANYWAYS, the owner DENNY bought me a chinese birthday cake from chinatown in boston! It was sooo yummy and sooo nice of them! Katy bought me yummy cupcakes...and i got alotta candy and stuff from everyone..it was really nice!
My birthday was also special because i got a wonderful surprise phone call from a lady i havent seen in years. I am so happy she actually remembered my birthday nevermine ME! I used to stay with her family when i was little for when i skated in Marlboro, MA. I spent all my summers with them and some of my winters. (its amazing when i look back on my *younger* skating days and i realized how much i sacrificed....deep thoughts.....) She recently moved to florida.(near my dad actually ..about an hour away from where he is!) She invited me to stay with her during feb. vacation! HOW EXCITING! So..my mom said one of my bday presents is a ticket to fly to FLORIDA! WHOOP WHOOP! VERY EXCITING!
I was in a skating show lastnight..fun! I skated to one of my older show programs (DIAMONDS-Moulan Rouge) i think it was a nice time. it was a small show with not alot of people but i had fun!
I saw the lord of the rings (#3) in theaters a total of 3 times so far...gotta love that movie. I wanna see Peter Pan now...!
Kara wants me to teach her how to do skating jumps! i think that would be fun if we all went public skating..we should plan it ! :-)
Time to do computer work i suppose....
