The rats have really come a long, long way since I rescued them only however many months ago. I rescued them from someone's garage, someone that didn't really have time for them. So every rat has a 'trick' to their hearts. Usually it's treats. I've come to find for my rats that it's treats.. and talking softly and constantly to them. If I stick my arm in the cage and talk to them and they're not tired/in bad moods or the like, they'll run up my arm and spend time with me.
