this weekend was fun
friday night i hosted the yag meeting at my house. we got a lot of stuff accomplished and i think yag is gonna be pretty good this year!! after the meeting was over we all caravaned over to emily gerlach's apt
(her roomie went home for weekend..and my roomie had to be up really early sat morning)
so we had an in-prompt-to strictly-social event at em's. (nice because all of us happened to be 21+)
it was fun to forget all about school and worries and etc for one night and just have fun with friends.
sat amy brown came and hung at my place while timmy and emily m went to gathering meeting. kim came over for a while and slept on my couch. both me and amy passed out watching the msu game.
sat night i worked...oh-vay long night. i had a customer tell me he was calling corporate to complain about me because i wouldn't give him a raincheck....because HE DIDN'T HAVE AN ACCOUNT. the way a raincheck works if you come in to rent something and we don't have it...you get a raincheck and its free next visit. but...you have to have made a valid attempt to rent the movie...meaning you have to have a valid account. so i asked for his account..."i don't have one" "then i can't give you a raincheck" "that's not fair, no where doesn't it say that" me repeating the policy above. "i'm going to open an account" "well give me your stuff to open an account and i will give you a raincheck." "i don't have it"
duhhh! people so dumb.
sunday i spent almost all day at school. first review session for lab practical...totally gonna flunk by the way. then spent forever at library working on project presentation for ecology lab.
eh i wish it was break already....
