so christmas and new years went well. i got a laptop, its beautiful. it fulfills my wildest dream like you would never believe. we were made for each other. the only thing that could come between us is a SCANNER!!!! but you didnt here that from me.
things have finally fallen into motion. im in my third or fourth week of paramedic. i am most definitely more satisfied with the paramedic program than emt at mdc. emt was crap because the instructors sucked. when in class they acted like they didnt want to be there or wanted to take the time to fully teach the material. the paramedic program is thankfully nothing like that. at least my lab and lecture instructors are not. yesterday was my first clinical and that sucked mad balls. the instructor was two hours late for whatever bullshit reason and then maybe an hour into the clinical he disappeared. we were left in cedars hospital to scratch our asses, so we dipped.
i took my first lecture test and i take my first lab test next thursday on iv therapy, intubation, and medical administration.
with that, i leave you with the key to becoming a professional paramedic;
you must be like the duck, calm and cool as it sits on the surface of the water, but underneath its a fierce chaos of sporadic kicking feet trying to keep its self afloat.
