Went out for dinner with Miss P after such a long time. Had quite an enjoyable time!
She bitched comprained about this horrendous horrendous psycho bulimic hypersonic-sensitive bitch female person while I comprained waxed lyrical over the the trials and tribulations of single life. Again.
Like whenever friends ask me about my love life, I always hand in a dismal report card. "Next time I see you huh, you had better give me good news!"
And I got what she meant lah. She was trying to say I was not assertive enough. I'd like to think I'm an easy-going person because I don't have any strong preference for places to eat, or with respect to things in general. Anything lor. But that pushes the onus of making the decision on the other person. There is a difference to be made between easy-going and being a push-over. Hmmm.... shall learn to be more assertive and positive in the future!
Finally got to try out Chocolate Destenation at 313@Somerset. I chose today partly cos of the 1-for-1 hot chocolate Tuesdays. And the hot chocolate did not disappoint! It's so thick and creamy. "Is like Milo gao gao," said she. Really meh, is like molten chocolate to me! It so full of caffeine I wonder how I'm going to sleep tonight. And at 5 bucks, it's so much more worth it than Starbucks. The tiramisu I ordered was better than the one my Italian housemate made back in the UK. It's light and mildly sweet, balancing the much stronger-tasting hot chocolate.
The tiramisu was good, the hot chocolate wayyy better, but it was the company that made it special. Thank you Miss P :)
