winter break
Let me just say that, since June 3, 2002, I have been working full-time, going to school full-time, or a little of both. Ironically enough, this winter break I didn't take any classes or work one minute. I successfully spent the month R-E-L-A-X-I-N-G! The holidays were fun but very predictable. I went to Syracuse after Christmas with my mom and Dean to visit my aunt. I also went to Florida with Lee, Lauren, and Lee's parents. That was very fun. The plane ride was very scary..I don't like planes! We spent a week in the amazing weather. It was above 80 and sunny every single day we were there. It was a totally different world! I have to say that even though we went to the beach, and the pool, and on a boat, my favorite part of the week was either having tea at the Ritz Carlton or going to the dog races. At the Ritz, I tried salmon and caviar for the first time! Today was my first full day back in Buffalo and it seems I brought the nice weather with me! I heard that it actually got up to 71 degrees here in Buffalo!! (keep in mind it is JANUARY!!) I took advantage of the nice weather and went running/walking. Tomorrow there will be a big snow storm for the rest of the time until I go back to school. I hope this snow storm doesn't interfere with my visit to go see my Lucky!! I've missed her so much! Lee and I are supposed to go to Horseheads, NY on Saturday to see Ashley and eat chicken speedies, mini tacos, reese cookies, and to play dominoes with the McClains!
