Drabble written for July mini contest at 
. It was not accepted into the competition because of a word miscalculation, but I didn't want it to be in JFF, so I pulled it. Anyway, a couple people were disappointed they didn't get to read it, so here it is.

“What did you do?”
“I dunno…”
“Well, did you follow the recipe?”
“Yeah…”
“Exactly?”
“I think so…”
“You must have left something out.”
“Did not.”
“Flour?”
“Yes.”
“Sugar?”
“Yes.”
“Butter, eggs, vanilla?”
“Yes, yes, yes.”
“Did you cream it all together till it was light and fluffy and add the eggs one at a time?”
“Yesss, just like I always do.”
“Did you have the temperature set correctly? Did you check the thermometer inside to make sure it was accurate?”
“Ugh. Yes! Yes, I did all of that. It’s just a bad recipe.”
“Did you grease the pan?”
“YES! Er…no…”
