i am so excited...
life is wonderful...
Phantom is going to be a really mesmerizing show....just listening to the music gives me chills and the original cast isnt even that good haha.
the show is suprisingly quick.
i am only on stage for like 3 minutes in the second act...but still. it is such fun. the cast is amazing. and our favorite past time is re-writing the lyrics to the songs to make them funny....and they are funny...but only to us i guess.
i havent been this happy in such a long time.
the beginning of this year was awful. part of it was life was boring and monotonous, and the other was my attitude.
now: i am thriving on being too busy to breathe.
mondays: i have two classes bright and early then at noon i am done and i grocery shop, work out, and then go to rehearsal. its great.
tuesdays: i work, 2 classes, and rehearsal..
weds, thurs, fri. you get the picture.
i love having a schedule i love being busy, I LOVE IT. I LOVE IT.
omg. i am listening to a song right now from the show and i am smiling so big....
i havent been this excited to open a show in a long time!! i mean with Grease I was excited..but it was Grease..ya know? i loved the cast and blah..but this show is something NEW...hardly anyone knows it, so I am excited to see the different reactions my friends and family have.
I am earning points toward Equity with this production. I am becoming close with some AMAZING broadway actors, and they are just the nicest people ever....oh man.
i feel so blessed.
tomorrow is my sorority's cocktail and my dress is pretttty, and my date is fun, and my shoes kick ass.
i hope i am not jinxing myself...but IM HAPPY.
last night robert, the man playing the phantom thanked the entire cast for being amazing. everyone, including norman large who is a jokster, was in tears. it was really amazing.
this cast is fantastic, and touring with them in april is going to be OMG. i dont even know.
