The XMFC-Firefly fusion! I have a great fondness!
1) Writing Darwin POV was totally new for me, especially Darwin-in-Firefly-vernacular, but I genuinely like how his voice came across in the end.
2) Another thing that was challenging: having a POV character whose perspective is...kind of laid-back and almost (but not quite) passive. It's not that he's not invested -- it's just that the stakes aren't anywhere NEAR as high for him as they are for, say, Alex. But his slow evolution (because that's what Darwin's best at) really does work for me.
3) I really like the way I made the fusion work. The mutants are added in to the Firefly 'verse as an additional complicating factor in the (lost) war between the Alliance and Independents, and the events of the show are still happening around the fringes of Cerebro's story. (For example, the ship is boarded by Alliance soldiers searching for the Tams.) I think I made it really clear that they all inhabit the same 'verse and are on a trajectory for both paths ( ... )

Oh, this was just a little ficlet, it's cute.
1) Because it was just meant to be a quick little offshoot of the Boden's Mate 'verse, I didn't bother with much exposition, just jumped right in to Erik being grumpy in a rainy dream. I like grumpy!Erik.
2) NO ANGST WHATSOEVER.
3) IDK? I mean, it's fluff, which is not my usual. But it was a nice break from all the heavy plot and drama of the rest of the 'verse.

UGH YOU'VE GONE FAR ENOUGH BACK TO HIT MY BACKLOG OF LOTRIPS FIC. And you hit a ficlet, so not even one of the longer ones I can trawl for SOMETHING good to say. WACKY FUN.
1) oh god it's written in first person, help. I mean. Um. There are some nice dialogue moments?
2) You have to understand, this was the height of the Domlijah tinhatters' reign of terror in the Lotrips fandom, and I was a Dom/Elijah shipper who WASN'T a tinhat, and it sucked. So I took one of the "proofs" that Domlijah was real and made it a Dom/Billy fic instead. I guess that's worth a mention.
3) I do like Elijah's cameo.
