Excellent recap!

This show falls apart if you try to apply Earth Logic to it, but I utterly adore it anyway. Ichabod is buried under explosive dirt! Sure, why not.

Sexy Shirtless Headless Horseman was perhaps the most WTF moment of the episode. Dude seems pretty vain for someone who presumably can't see himself in a mirror.

I like your point that Ichabod seemed way more concerned about busting Abbie out of purgatory than he was about Katrina.

My impression is that the armored guy with the flaming sword is some sort of avatar that Henry controls, but I'm not entirely clear on that.

I love how this show just utterly embraces its lack of logic. It's marvelous.
