HEARTS.
1. I would totally marry Elena, post-Sidhe. (The clumsiness was in no way a dealbreaker; the frog eating, that I could do without.)
2. Arthur/Gwen is really unspeakably adorable.
3. MERLIN'S SPEECH TO ARTHUR ABOUT DESTINY AND LOVE. OH MY GOD. MY HEART JUST EXPLODED OUT OF MY CHEST. MERLIN MERLIN MERLIN. CANNOT STOP FLAILING.
...yeah, that's about it. My OT-EVERYONE is still strongly in play. That episode was all Arthur/Gwen and Merlin/Arthur, all the time, and I ship it all so hard and see no conflict of interest in any of this.
Pretty forgettable episode, otherwise. And yeah, I realize there were some faily gender role issues in play, but I'm just...not inclined to focus on the negatives with this show. Because I still think the writing in general is deeply sub-par, and choose to ignore this and just make heart-eyes at all the wonderful characters being adorable at each other.
