I'm working on a Morgana vid, and JESUS CHRIST it is BREAKING MY HEART.
Clipping "Fires of Idirsholas" now.
This was a tough episode to watch the first time around. Watching -- without audio -- entirely from Morgana's perspective? OH GOD.
I'm up to Merlin poisoning Morgana, and then pulling her into his arms to hold her as she slowly dies. I'm actually crying right now, which I didn't the first time around. Just -- oh, Merlin. He's so fucking broken about this, and, fuck, Morgana, so betrayed and uncomprehending and...GAH. In my wide and happy realm of OT5 shippiness in this show, I think the Merlin/Morgana relationship fascinates me the most. It's just so yearning and broken and fucked up and they were never meant to be enemies but they have no choice, OH GOD.
OW OW OW OW OW. For a kind of ridiculous teenybopper sort of show, Merlin somehow manages to really get to me sometimes.
