Okay, I concede. "How I Met Your Mother" is just as hilarious and amazing as everyone's been telling me for the past three years. I'm a little sad I only get one disc from Netflix at a time now, because I just mainlined the first 8 episodes and could keep going all evening

Also: there is an AMAZING production of The History Boys in Chicago right now, down to the point that each boy has a bedroom area you can walk through and inspect during intermission, and Crowther's area is decorated with handmade Doctor Who drawings, because of the one line where he says he likes to act. SO AWESOME.

Wow, that production is still running? Yeah, I heard it was pretty spectacular, and I'm all kinds of annoyed that I didn't make it back to Chicago to see it.

It's been extended at least twice, to the point that they had to shift the beginning of their fall season to another theater. It is *amazing*.
