[Fanfic] Tegomass, slight MassuShige
The original post is on the BNS forums, but I'll post it here for my other non-JE obsessed friends...
Title of story: Santa Monica
Pairing: I was going to make this an anonymous pairing, but I couldn't help but adapt it to my 2 OTPs. :) Sad story though... MassuxShige if you squint. I don't know why I made MassuxShige as the pairing though!! SuShi is still my favourite fluff!ness

Dear Diary,
I can’t believe what Shige just told me. I trusted him with my heart. And he broke it. He promised……….and I believed him. That was my first mistake.
She fills my bed with gasoline

Tegoshi raised his head. New tears glistening in his eyes. It was late, but the rest of NewS was still out at dinner. He had planned ahead and packed everything for tomorrow morning's ride back to the hotel. That bus would take him away from his second home; the stage.
Tegoshi stood up and headed for the doors of the dressing room. Using the back of his hand, he wiped away the steady falling tears. No they were not tears of joy. They were tears of loneliness and sorrow.
When he reached the last step he noticed that someone else had also left the food, surprisingly; Masuda Takahisa. He was just returning through the back doors to the dressing room.
”I thought everyone was still at dinner.” Massu said when he noticed his girlfriend's boyfriend's presence.
”I didn’t go…..”replied Tegoshi.
I remember the day when you left for Santa Monica
You left me to remain with all your excuses for everything
I remember the time when you left for Santa Monica
I remember the day you told me it’s over
”You should eat something.” Massu said worriedly heading for the couch. He signaled Tegoshi to sit with him.
Slowly Tegoshi followed in suit. He sat down and stared at the invisible dirt under his fingernails.
”I’m not hungry,” the singer replied, “I know Massu.” He whispered after a minute of awkward silence.
”Shige told you didn’t he?”
Tegoshi nodded.
It hurts to breathe
Every time that you’re not next to me
Her mind’s made up, the girl is gone
And now I’m forced to see
I think I’m on my way, Oh it hurts to live today
Oh and she says “Don’t you wish you were dead like me?”

You left me to remain with all your excuses for everything

I remember the day you told me it’s over
No this can’t be happening. Not now! We just got together! He’s my life! Massu thought to himself.
”Teshi it’s not what you think…..” Massu started trying to make an explanation.
”I don’t need your petty excuses Masuda….. I think we need a break.” Tegoshi said trying not to burst into tears.
Massu didn’t notice this and said “Sure.” Massu went and got a cold bottle of water. He misunderstood his meaning.
”No Masuda; a break from each other.”
Massu dropped the bottle on the floor.
”You can’t be serious.”
”He’s deadly serious.” A voice from behind the ex-couple stated.
Massu whipped around.
“All I’m saying is that’s how he broke up with Ryo.” YamaPi said.
Tegoshi started to break down. 'I can’t believe I’m doing this. But it’s for the best,' his head kept telling him. But his heart was saying something entirely different. He couldn’t stand it anymore. Tegoshi burst into tears and ran out the door, towards the buses that were to take them home tomorrow.

Koyama was told that Tegoshi was in an unstable state. He ran outside only to be met with a large bus..... which seemed to be sobbing.
Koyama pivoted, and walked towards the other side of the bus.
”Leave me alone……” Tegoshi whispered barely moving.
”Come on Tegoshi! Why do you have to do this to yourself? Why do you lock it up? Let it out for Johnny’s God's sake!” Koyama trying to reach out to his friend.
”YOU WANT ME TO LET IT OUT? I’D NEVER STOP IF I LET IT OUT!” Tegoshi screamed.
Koyama, in shock, realized that this would take some time. He headed back inside to give the rest of NewS a progress report.
”It’s over……It’s actually over…..” Tegoshi whimpered. He slid down the side of the bus, his legs not willing to support him anymore……….
I can't believe I broke Tegomass up. *cries* Though MassuxShige has been my new obsession, SuShi will be my first ever OTP! I promise to write SuShi fluff soon. :)
