So, winter sucks. My New Year's plans included a low-key evening with my Santa Barbara friends (who were to be flying in tonight from their Christmas trip home to Maine) because we'd be getting up early-early to go to the Rose Parade tomorrow. Only they just found out their flight was canceled, and they won't be getting to LA until 11:00 tomorrow. And the Rose Parade tickets are in their car, parked at the airport, so I can't even go without them. And I bought my camera to take to the Rose Parade! I'm bummed. And now, not only will I not be going to the parade, but I'll also be spending New Year's Eve by myself. HOW DEPRESSING! *laugh* This is just more evidence that 2008 kinda sucked.
