This week sucks in the way of physical wellbeing. Wednesday was the World's Worst Headache, yesterday was the clinging annoyance of the headache, and today? Headache's gone, but I have cramps like nobody's business. ARGH! So instead of wanting my head to just explode already, I want to tear my uterus out and run over it with my car.
Yesterday at lunch, some of my coworkers were watching Scrubs. It was the episode where JD has his appendix removed. A had brought me a tuna sandwich from Subway, and a few hours after eating lunch, he started complaining of a stomacheache. He'd had the tuna, too. I have this thing about not throwing up, so when he was worrying about bad tuna, I got a little panicked. Anyway, it wasn't the tuna. I got a call last night saying A's in surgery, having his appendix removed. Just hours after having watched a Scrubs episode about the very same thing. How weird is that?
TV last night was good. I always enjoy a good This Can't Be Real storyline, along with This Can't Be Real music throughout, just to remind everyone involved that really, This Can't Be Real. Plus, Clark in a straightjacket. Where's the bad in that? And I always, always enjoy a good Bank Robbery episode, complete with conspiracy theories and Mary Sues and snarky one-liners and... bad hair, Sam, WTF? I didn't get to Grey's, and actually, I'm not sure if it taped or not. I forgot to check. Hmm. And maybe this weekend I'll catch up on last week's SPN and Grey's. Because I am a slacker and somehow have not found two hours to sit down and watch recorded TV.
