mid-morning crisis

i miss singapore.  it was like a dream world over there.  4 months in a country bathed in greenery, where school wasn't a priority, time management wasn't necessary, and 4 hours of sleep was more than sufficient in a night.  i miss eating porridge for breakfast and going running at 11 at night with anna.  i miss watching horrible movies with brandon.  i miss walking around campus in the middle of the night with chris, sacrificing sleep for conversation, and wondering if the entire experience was even real.  it rarely felt like it was.  and it was over so quickly.  it was so simple.  perfect.

i've been home for almost 6 months and you'd think i'd be over it by now.
