I have a website...

...well, sort of!

I set up kayberrisford.com a few months ago. Being my usual tardy self, only now do I start thinking seriously about getting it going.

My excuse for procrastination this time is that I really am not an expert in website design.  While excitedly awaiting artwork for "Bound for the Forest", I thought I might use a picture by one of my favorite artists for my banner, Echo and Narcissus by J.W.Waterhouse.  I like this picture and, visually at least, it hints at certain themes relevant to my tastes and writing:  pretty boys who know they're pretty, and girls who like to watch! However, despite all of the helpful templates at Wordpress, I can only get the picture to crop in one restrictive fashion.  And I’m not entirely sure it doesn’t look silly.  So…opinions and ideas would be much appreciated, not least because I’m going to be changing it all again soon!

Not much else happening at the moment here, beyond working on my second book, a Tudor set fantasy (Victorian theatre has been sidelined for now. It was becoming way too epic and I needed a break!)

Now, off to read some exciting writing by halotolerant  (awesome Life on Mars fic) and the fabby melanietushmore  - yay!
