i stumbled on this in the poetry community. i HAD to put it here. if i ever write HALF as good as this ill be set for life.
Fallen
Uncounted epochs I, white-shrouded, walked
Among the Thrones and stoic-countenanced Powers
Woe to the furtive Whisperer
First among those conspirators
Who came to me beside the Sea of Glass
My every dream recounts that fiery day
The six-winged Seraphs roared their utter wrath
To Uriel, To Raziel,
Too many of my kindred fell
The rest, and I, shrank back unto the earth
Behold my broken form, shard-winged and clawed
A mockery god-wrought in jealous fear
Let heaven's head and host believe
That Michael forced the proud to flee
No godly throat admits we chose exile
