on a cold, heartless ocean
filled with creatures called hatred and despair.
stars of fire
in a sky, ever higher
a burning portait of how you never seem to care.
bitter gusts of wind
to sweep away your grin
and leave you feeling lost and all alone.
raindrops fall like tears
to wash away my fears
now that my heart has simply turned to stone.
