Alright, lets see if I can get these photos right. I trimmed Taco's feet.. They were already chipping after two weeks, so I got a lesson from a friend on how to do it and I though I would give it a go. I could have been more aggressive with the toe, but I was conservative as it was my first go :P But I still brough it back from where the farrier had it... behind the cut... sorry for big pictures...
So I started with the fronts... they weren't too long all around, just in the toe The right seemed more chopped up than the left though. I need to round it out a little more, but I think it is a step in the right direction... Taco's feet are HARD... he, fortunately is a doll and stood like a champ, even without a foot resst for holding his leg forward....
Here is the front right before:

Front Left Before:
Front left after:
Rear left after, I think... (I can't find the before one...)

Oh... and just for a shot of the sole... this is the front right foot... before doing anything...
So not bad... tough work... I got a little tired by the time I got to the back feet and didn't take off as much as I wanted too... but it was a good start.... I just didn't have the arm strength by the end of it... next time... still better than they were IMO...
I can see, looking back at them I could have rounded out the roll better... I'll try to better next time. I'll give him a week and see if I can get a little more roll over on the toe...
